Frederick is a pitcher that had some offers to play professionally but unfortunately, the deals never close up. 6’3 height and 220 pounds with a 90-92 fastball in the strike zone, makes Frederick a Top pitcher. Adding his Curveball, sliders, plus a really good changeup that is 10-12mph slower than his fastball makes Frederick a difficult pitcher to face. Regardless of his size and arm action, Frederick pitches down in the zone which makes him more effective. With a nice and smooth wind-up, Frederick looks to be a player that has not reached his max yet. I project Frederick to take up his fastball to 94-95mph and be a Draft selection candidate.
